Our Kolkata Honeymoon
When we first started planning our honeymoon, we knew that we wanted to go somewhere unique and different. Our search led us to Kolkata, India – and we were not disappointed! We visited some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the famous Victoria Memorial and the Red Fort, but our favorite spot was definitely the Botanical Gardens. There, we spent hours wandering among the exotic plants and trees, taking in the sights and smells of India’s humid climate.
We also enjoyed getting to know our fellow travelers a bit better. We met families from all over Europe and North America on our trip – it was amazing to see so many people from so many different backgrounds coming together for an amazing vacation. And even though we didn’t have time to see everything that Kolkata had to offer, we’re already dreaming of our next trip there!
