If you’re only traveling to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, or Bermuda, you can use a passport card instead of a passport book. The passport card costs $55 for adults and $40 for children under 16.

If you already have a passport, you can renew it by mail for $110. You can also renew it in person, but it will cost $135.

Expedited Service

If you need your travel documents in a hurry, you can pay for expedited service. For a passport, that will cost an additional $60. For a visa, the expedited service fee will depend on the country you’re visiting.
