If you’re looking for a place to escape every day and experience something new, Cancun is the destination for you. It has a little bit of everything: beaches, nightclubs, and even temples! In this guide, we’ll take a look at what makes Cancun such an amazing place to visit.

Nightclubs

Nightclubs in Cancun are just as plentiful as the sunsets. If you’re looking to party, there is no shortage of nightclubs in Cancun. Many of them are open 24/7 and some even stay open until 4 am! And don’t worry if you’re not 18 years old yet—you can still get in at most clubs by showing your student ID card at the door.

Some of these clubs are located on top of buildings while others are inside hotels or malls. There’s no limit to where you might find yourself dancing up a storm with friends after dark (or during daylight hours).

Beachlife

If you’re looking for beach life, Cancun has you covered. The city has a wide variety of activities from swimming and snorkeling to water sports like kayaking, windsurfing, and kiteboarding. You can even ride a wave runner across the ocean! If you’ve got your gear at home or are feeling adventurous enough to rent some equipment in town, check out Chachalacas Beach or Estero Beach for some great snorkeling spots with clear waters and colorful fish that will make your day on the boat ride there well worth it.

Temples

Temples are a great place to visit if you want to learn more about the history of Mexico. The Mayan culture is very interesting and many temples have been built by them that you can visit and learn about. These temples were built hundreds of years ago, and they still exist today! They all have different designs, but most of them look like pyramids with stairs going up on one side. Temples can be found all over Mexico, but there are two main ones in Cancun: Chichen Itza (pronounced chee-Chen EE-ta) and Tulum (pronounced too-lum).

Dolphin Swim

You can swim with dolphins in Cancun. Dolphin swims are a fun tourist attraction, but they are not without their flaws. Dolphins are gentle and friendly animals that enjoy human contact, but you should know that they are also an endangered species. They often spend their lives in very small tanks or cages which some people find to be inhumane and neglectful of the dolphins’ needs for freedom and space. Dolphin shows also train these animals to perform unnatural tricks for entertainment purposes; this practice has been criticized by animal rights activists for years because it’s believed to be harmful psychologically and physically to the animals involved. While there may be other places where you could go swimming with dolphins where these issues aren’t present (such as sanctuaries), if you choose to do so at all then expect your experience at least somewhat tainted by them—and don’t forget about your carbon footprint!

Food and Drink

The Mexican food is delicious. There are tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, chorizo, and more. I loved the carnitas and chicken mole! The tortas are also very good! You should try them if you visit Mexico City or Cancun.

The fruit is amazing too! There are many different kinds of fruit that you can find in Cancun like pineapple, watermelon, oranges, and more! They taste so good with a little bit of salt on top of it like most Mexicans do when eating their fruit.

Wedding Locations

Cancun offers a wide range of beautiful locations to hold your wedding, from the beach to ancient Mayan ruins and more. If you want something that is more than just your typical hotel ballroom, Cancun has several options for you! Here are some of our favorite wedding locations:

  • The Royal Suites Hotel – A beautiful resort located along Playa Delfines, this location is perfect for couples who want something upscale and fancy without being too over-the-top. With amazing views of the Caribbean Sea and its private beach, it’s easy to see why this place would be a hit with brides and grooms alike. Plus there’s an onsite spa where you can get ready!
  • Ruins of Tulum – An architectural wonder that provides stunning backdrops while still feeling intimate enough for smaller weddings or family gatherings (it seats up to 200 people). The location incorporates modern touches into its design while still preserving much of what remains from when it was first constructed by Mayans centuries ago—including pyramids! There are also many other gorgeous spots nearby including beaches where you can hold ceremonies or receptions after spending time exploring these historical sites together as husband and wife…or just having fun together as friends 🙂
